Organic Red Fife Heritage wheat boasts exceptional flavor and baking properties. This wheat is the parent variety of all modern wheat varieties grown in Canada today. Because most modern varieties of wheat are bred for high-input production methods, a lot of people seem to now be sensitive to wheat and wheat products, which can be found in many food items.
As this variety neared extinction, a few dedicated organic farmers across the country have begun to revive this “land race” and have watched with enthusiasm as it adapts to local climates within a three-year growing period. Because of the lack of breeding and inputs used to produce this heritage variety, many people who are wheat intolerant find they can eat and enjoy Red Fife wheat. Grown in the Maritimes.
All our grains are certified organic and NON-GMO

Have used A&B Red fife kernels for a year now. My local mill stopped selling it. So found A&B, every batch of my Red fife sourdough comes out ,nearly, perfectly. Quality and flavour are spot on. Highly recommend this product.

These are the first wheat berries I've purchased to mill in my new Mockmill LINO 100 and I'm very happy with them. They have nutty complex flavour which I'm enjoying.
