Kamut® is an ancient grain and the brand name for Khorasan wheat. Known as the “Sweet Wheat,” Kamut is an older Egyptian variety of Durum Wheat that many wheat intolerant people can enjoy. Kamut® is appreciated for its smooth, buttery, nutty flavor, and its high protein and nutritional content. Kamut flour is excellent for making breads, cereals, cookies, crackers, pastries, waffles and pancakes. Grown in Quebec.

This kamut grain makes a really fresh and fragrant flour which I have used to make a form of sourdough bread (using 50% einkorn flour as well) and it gives a nice flavored hearty bread, delicious toasted and not. It also contains much less gluten then bread with regular wheat flour so better for the microbiome.
