The Mockmill’s uniquely designed grinding stones produce extraordinarily fine flour, well suited for making everything from world class artisan breads to flaky croissants. Enjoy light pancakes, waffles, tarts, pie crusts, brioche, challah, tender flatbreads and more without sacrificing the health benefits packed into natures nutrient powerhouse that is the whole grain wheat kernel.
Moving a small lever lets you easily adjust output texture from super fine flour to coarse meal or even cracked grain. This texture range is infinitely adjustable, so you literally can achieve any texture you want for making whole grain artisan breads, sandwich loaves, fine pastries, cakes, corn bread and much more.
All dry grains can be ground with the Mockmill 100 grain mill, including soft or hard wheat, oat groats (dehulled oats), rice, triticale, kamut, spelt, buckwheat, barley, rye, millet, teff, quinoa, amaranth, sorghum, soybeans and dent (field) corn. It will also grind lentils, dry beans (pinto, red, garbanzo, kidney & more), and dried, non-oily spices. It isn't suitable for herbs, oilseeds like flax or sesame, popcorn, or fibrous materials.
Dent (field) corn and soybeans can be ground to any texture from cracked to meal to very fine flour. For these very large-kerneled grains, grind first with the stones opened widely to produce cracked grain, then a second time if you want flour. If you want to grind oat groats open the stones further, otherwise the soft oat flour will fill the stones' furrows and in-feeding will stop. Opening the stones further will give you a cereal grind for porridge, or coarser yet for cracked oats, similar to steel-cut.
For home use: The Mockmill is intended for home use and milling quantities appropriate for normal family needs. It is not designed for commercial use in which large quantities of grains are to be ground.

This grain mill is great at making the amount of flour I need for sourdough bread at home. It is easy to setup and use and is quite fast to provide about 8-10 cups needed for my recipe. Using fresh ground flour really enhances the resulting bread. I also like the fact that it does not take up too much space as my kitchen has little counterspace. A great mill for a home user.

So easy to set up and use. It makes really nice flour! I wish I had got it years sooner. A big step up from my old flour grinder that spread flour everywhere in the house.
