Inside and outside a perfect grain mill that will serve you with the
most natural and fresh flour available. The 360W industrial motor and
large 3.54" (90mm) granite stones of the MAX make milling a
breeze. It can manage 6.6 lb (3kg) of grains at a time easily and you will be
amazed by the pastries, cereals, breads, buns, pizzas, chapattis that
you will create with the help of this mill.
The milling chamber is made from solid beech. Salzburger Mills has more than 40 years experience in the manufacture
of granite milling stones. Only special selected granite is used in the
laborious production of milling stones that result in unique pairs for
each mill. Granite is extremely hard and durable, while purely natural –
without any additives.
GRANITE MILL STONES
All dry grains (except corn) can be ground with the MAX mill, including soft
or hard wheat, oat groats (dehulled oats), rice, triticale, kamut,
spelt, buckwheat, barley, rye, millet, teff, quinoa, amaranth, sorghum, and soybeans. It will also grind lentils, dry beans
(pinto, red, garbanzo/chickpeas, kidney & more), and dried, non-oily
spices. It isn't suitable for herbs, oilseeds like flax or sesame,
popcorn, or fibrous materials.
